Terms of Use

1. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, Wispro grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to download, install, and use the Wispro application on compatible Windows devices that you own or control. Your use may also be subject to the terms of the store or platform through which you obtained Wispro.

2. User Obligations

By using Wispro, you agree to:

• Provide and maintain your own valid Groq API key where an API key is required.
• Comply with Groq's terms, policies, usage limits, and any charges associated with your account.
• Use Wispro only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and the rights of others.
• Obtain any consent required before recording, transcribing, or processing another person's speech or confidential information.
• Review AI-generated transcripts, edits, and responses before relying on or sharing them.

You must not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, bypass security controls, interfere with the service, use Wispro to distribute harmful or unlawful material, or redistribute, sublicense, rent, sell, or transfer Wispro except where applicable law expressly permits such activity.

3. Your Content

You retain your rights in the audio, text, prompts, snippets, notes, and other content you process through Wispro. You are responsible for your content and for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to process it. Wispro does not claim ownership of your content.

4. Intellectual Property

Wispro and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the application, website, software, code, design, documentation, trademarks, logos, and other Wispro materials. Except for the limited license granted above, these Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

5. Third-Party Services

Wispro relies on third-party services, including Groq, for transcription and AI processing. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for their availability, security, pricing, outputs, retention practices, or policy changes.

6. AI-Generated Output

Speech recognition and AI-generated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unsuitable for your context. Output is provided for assistance only and is not professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying output before using it or making decisions based on it.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wispro is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and quiet enjoyment. We do not guarantee that Wispro will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device or application, or that any output will be accurate or meet your expectations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wispro and its owners, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business interruption, arising from or related to your use of or inability to use Wispro, even if advised that such damages are possible.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Wispro at any time by uninstalling the application. We may suspend or terminate access to Wispro if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the service, create security or legal risk, or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and responsibility for obligations incurred before termination.

10. Changes to Wispro or These Terms

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of Wispro, and we may revise these Terms from time to time. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. By continuing to use Wispro after revised Terms take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.

11. General Terms

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
